The OCR European Championships return on June 30 – July 4, 2027 at Tähtvere spordipark in Tartu, Estonia. It is the first time Estonia hosts the championships; the local organizer is Seiklushunt, the Tartu club behind the Vägilase jooks obstacle race.
The race lineup for 2027 has not been published yet — the organizer has announced the host city, the venue and the competition window, and says more information is coming. Previous editions have run short-course and long-course European titles over a single weekend.
Seiklushunt's own races use the wristband penalty system the European Championships are judged on: fail an obstacle and a wristband is cut, and the missing bands convert into penalty loops at the finish. Lose all of them and there is no official result.
