Tough Mudder Colorado returns to Fort Carson, the army post south of Colorado Springs, on 25 September 2027. The course sits at roughly 1,800 m altitude and runs over dry mountain ground, so the climbs and the thin air do as much work as the obstacles and the water carries.
Both distances run on the Saturday: a 15K with about 20 obstacles and a 5K with about 12. Tough Mudder is untimed and team-based, with obstacles designed to be helped over rather than raced.
