Claude Integration
Last updated:
Use Claude to find races and manage your OCR Races calendar with natural language — search the race calendar, check what is on today, add or move workouts, mark them done, and ask when your next race is — without opening the web app.
What You Can Do
- Find races — "A muddy 10K in Italy next May" or "Spartan races near Seattle this autumn"
- See today — "What's on today?"
- View your week — "What's my training plan this week?"
- Add activities — "Add a 45-minute run tomorrow at 7am"
- Move workouts — "Move Sunday's run to Saturday"
- Log a session — "Done, 55 minutes, felt good"
- Check upcoming races — "When is my next race?"
- Get weekly summaries — "How was my week?"
Setting Up
- On claude.ai (web or desktop app), open Customize → Connectors and click Add custom connector
- Name it OCR Races and paste the server URL shown in Settings → AI Integration (copy button next to it)
- Click Add, sign in to OCR Races and click Allow
That is all. No token, nothing to install. The step-by-step guide with screenshots is on the Claude integration page.
How It Works
Claude connects to OCR Races through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You approve the connection on an OCR Races sign-in page, so Claude never sees your password and only reaches your own calendar and trips. The race calendar it searches is the same public list as on the site. Disconnect any time from Settings → AI Integration or from Claude's Connectors list.
Tips
- Your time zone is saved when you approve the connection, so "today" and "Sunday" mean your local days. Change it in Settings → General if you travel.
- The integration is read-write: Claude can both check and change your schedule.
- Ask Claude to plan a full training week in one conversation, then tick sessions off by voice on the way home.
