Strong Viking Amsterdam 2027 returns to the Spaarnwoude nature area just west of the city for a two-day weekend of mud, water and obstacles. This is the edition built around the big water features, including the Flying Ragnar and the 14-metre Fjord Drop, so expect to be wet from early on.
Distances run from the 4 km Beginning and the 4 km Family Run through Lightning (7 km), Warrior (13 km) and Beast (19 km) up to the 42 km Iron Viking. Saturday also hosts the 60 km Ultra Viking, four laps and roughly 135 obstacles inside a 10-hour cut-off. Spaarnwoude sits a short train and bus hop from Amsterdam Centraal, which makes this the most travel-friendly stop on the calendar.
