Yu Man Race is the former Fisherman's Friend StrongmanRun Hellendoorn, run since 2012 and one of the biggest obstacle runs in the Netherlands. The Obstacle Run on 6 September 2026 has four distances, 5, 10, 15 and 21 km, through the forest and heath of the Sallandse Heuvelrug national park. The organisers sum up the course as four elements: mud, water, air and earth, with climbing walls, muddy ditches and slides.
The Kids Obstacle Run (1.5 and 3 km, ages 4 to 12) runs the day before, on 5 September. Start and finish are at the Evenementenweide on Koersendijk in Nijverdal. The 5 km waves and most longer waves sell out, so book early; competitor waves are available on the 21 km.
