Yu Man Race Hellendoorn 2027

Yu Man Race in Hellendoorn, Netherlands. 7 events over 2 days, Sep 4–5, 2027.

Race information

Yu Man Race is the former Fisherman's Friend StrongmanRun Hellendoorn and one of the biggest obstacle runs in the Netherlands. The Obstacle Run on Sunday 5 September 2027 is run over four distances — 5, 10, 15 and 21 km — across four terrains, with the course built around what the organisers call the four elements: mud, water, air and fire. The 5 km is billed as the fun run, the 21 km as the challenge, and the 21 km has its own competitor wave.

The Kids Obstacle Run moves to Saturday 4 September and adds a third distance for 2027: alongside the 1.5 and 3 km there is now a 5 km for kids. Each run starts with a joint warm-up and finishes through the mud baths. Start and finish are at the Evenementenweide on Koersendijk in Nijverdal, in the municipality of Hellendoorn. Wave times are published about two weeks before race day; the early-bird ticket tiers sell out well ahead of that.
